English - communications without borders

Nowadays, English is the most common language in the world. It is considered an international language that is why a lot of documents, instructions and even the name of metro stations, streets, pointers in the city, airports, train stations and bus stations are translated into English in every country. And when we meet the foreigner in our country, we automatically try to use English words to explain the necessary direction. Well, in this article the value and role of English will be shown.

At the end of previous century English was established as the most important international language. This was one of the reasons why English was involved in schools and universities in the USSR. It meant that the territory where people were familiarized with English on the Elementary level became bigger. In addition, the USA has the biggest influence at all activity spheres of people. In the out we have a big amount of neologisms which have origins from American English. This language captured all spheres of our life: trade and business, education, tourism, science and technology and so on. There are a few points why English exists everywhere in daily life.

According to the statistics the number of native speakers of English is 379 million and number of speakers as a second language in several countries is 505 million. The total number of native speakers is 1,13 billion. It means the possibility to meet the native speaker of English is very high. Fortunately, our society understand the importance of this language and learn English. Moreover, people have many ways and tools to improve their English level. That is why there is no problem to develop and be aware in English.

At the beginning of 21 century the tourism sphere began to develop, people started to move from one country to another and tourists visited the sightseeing much more often. It caused the process of communication with foreigners that is why people started to use English for tourist goals. We hear English words every day, in the school, then in the universities and in daily life. And this is great because it helps us to remember and understand the basic phrases in English. The result of these acquisitions is the communication with people from other countries and with other cultures.

Consequently, English is a big tool which is very useful and helpful to get any information. Using English people can expand their horizon and enrich the inner world. But the most important point is communication without any borders.
